What is the cost of stone benchtops?

Prices vary greatly between the different products and colours on the market today. It all depends on how your stone benchtop will be used and what suits your lifestyle. It's best to contact us with your specific requirements that best suit your budget and needs.

Is there one product that is better than the other?

Short answer no. Each product has its own benefits, it all depends on what you require from a working surface. We can supply you with any extra information you need for your specific design and budget.

What is the maintenance like for stone benchtops?

In response to the recent media coverage surrounding Silicosis, Made In stone would like to ensure all customers that we take the health and safety of our staff and customers very seriously.

We have recently improved upon our current safety practices to comply fully with the new workplace safety regulations implemented by Worksafe NZ.

Our team are well educated on the risks of silica dust exposure and understand the necessary safety precautions set in place, ensuring that our team have the greatest possible protection from the potential health risks posed during the fabrication process.

This has included updating our fabrication team with the latest personal protective equipment and increased ways in which water is used during the fabrication of engineered stone products, almost eliminating the dust that is created in the manufacturing process.

Along with our improved fabrication practices, independent air testing has been carried out registering our factory’s environment under acceptable Worksafe NZ dust exposure standards.

In addition to our internal safety measures, we only work with reputable and trusted stone suppliers who prioritize the health and safety of their customers.

It is important to note that Engineered Stone that has been fully fabricated and installed does not pose any health or safety risks to customers.
